INTRODUCING ACHIEVE

ICPA is proud to launch ‘Achieve’, its new Online Learning Academy. This latest initiative will bring rich and diverse content and a unique learning experience to our members. Led by prominent academics and accomplished practitioners, the curriculum takes participants through a three-phase journey across four challenging areas in corrections.

This is your opportunity to get the latest evidence-based overviews of effective practice. ‘Achieve’ promises to deliver a wealth of insights. It will be accessible online and from anywhere in the world.

THE FORMAT

The Learning Academy offers participants a choice of exploring up to four different topic areas:

Session 1: Innovative Models of Offender Management and Intervention;
Session 2: Staff Motivation and Well-Being;
Session 3: Effective Community/Supervision Strategies;
Session 4: Strategies for Women Offenders.

Each topic area will be examined in three phases of 90 minutes held across the November-December period:

Phase 1: Webinar Lecture Presentations;
Phase 2: Panel Q & A Discussion;
Phase 3: Facilitated Chat Room Discussions – max. 15 per room.

Curriculum

WHO SHOULD ATTEND the lEARNiNG Academy?

The ICPA Online Academy will provide opportunities for learning through a programme of webinars and interactive exchange sessions, relevant to senior and middle managers, front line staff and others engaged in both custodial and community corrections.

Participants who attend Phases 1 & 2 of a Session will receive a certificate of participation from ICPA.
